Hotel Wassilioff was established in 1844 by Mr Michael Wassilioff, a refugee from the Tzar's Riga. His children Ingebrigt and Tatjana continued the running of the hotel. The present owners Anne-Gerd and Gunnar Berseth have, with great attention to quality and tradition, developed the hotel into one of the most popular in the area around the Oslo fjord. Stavern is an old garrison town, filled with charm and cultural monuments. You are welcome to take a trip on the fjord using the hotel's boat.
