A young couple, Christen and Birgitte Nitter, took over the inn
in Solvorn by the Luster fjord in Sogn in 1690. Since then, one generation after another
has followed. Now the 9th generation is preparing to take over the family hotel. It is
mainly the west of Norway's nature with mountains, fjords and glaciers which attracts
tourists to Sogn. Old traditions have been retained at this hotel, whilst also keeping
pace with progress. The Nitter Walaker family continues to attend to the needs of their
guests.
