TRAVEL INSURANCE COVERAGE & PREMIUMS

This insurance is underwritten by Arch Insurance Company, One Liberty Plaza, New York, NY 10006. This is only a brief description of the insurance coverages available under the policy. The policy contains reductions, limitations, exclusions and termination provisions. Full details of the coverage are contained in the Description of Coverage. If there are any conflicts between this document and the policy, the policy shall govern. Not all coverages are available in every state.

Tour Cost
Trip Cancellation & Interruption
Trip Cancellation and Interruption pays for forfeited, non-refundable, unused payments or deposits if due to:
Sickness, injury or death of you, a Traveling Companion or Family Member.
Unforeseeable circumstances such as jury duty, weather, a flat tire, or involvement in or delay due to a traffic accident on the way to the airport, or strike.

Reasons not covered:
Carrier caused delays such as mechanical difficulties (covered under Travel Delay).
Travel arrangements cancelled by the tour operator, airline, or cruise line.
Change in plans ("l just don't want to go.").
Normal pregnancy or childbirth.
Financial circumstances ("I can't afford to go.")
Business or contractual obligations ("My boss changed my vacation.")
Any government regulation or prohibition, war, civil disorder, nuclear reaction or contamination.

Travel Delay
Pays up to $100 a day for additional accommodations and traveling expenses if due to:
Carrier delay such as mechanical difficulties or weather.
Lost passport, money, or travel documents.
Natural disaster.
Injury or sickness of you or Traveling Companion.

Baggage & Travel Documents
Coverage for loss, theft, damage, and mysterious disappear\-ance of baggage and personal effects.
Primary coverage -- no need to present a claim to another carrier such as Homeowner's.
Covers loss due to unauthorized use of credit cards if you have complied with credit card conditions.
Pays for administrative fees to reissue lost or stolen tickets.
Coverage for cameras, musical instruments, breakage of brittle or fragile articles, golf and scuba equipment.

Pays for the purchase of essential items if your bags are delayed for more than 24 hours.

Pays for doctor, hospital, ambulance services, and prescription medication. Initial treatment must be received during trip. We will pay for covered expenses for up to one year from date of injury/sickness.
Pays for emergency dental expenses while on your trip.
No daily limits or deductibles.

Evacuation to nearest adequate medical facility.
Up to $5,000 for medical escort.
Transportation of remains upon death.

Assistance to locate local physicians, dentists, or medical facilities.

Evacuation to a hospital, treatment facility or back home.

24 hour/7 days a week emergency and non-emergency travel service...all just a phone call away. We never close.

Termination Date: All coverage ends on the earlier of: (a) the date the trip is completed; (b) the scheduled trip completion date; (c) the Insured's arrival at the return destination on a round trip, or the destination on a one-way trip; or (d) cancellation of the trip covered by the policy The Effective Date is the date the premium is paid.
