Day 1 Reykjavik
Arrive in Iceland and be met by your private chauffeur driven car for
the 40 minute drive from Keflavik airport to Reykjavik. Enjoy the lava
fields and other sights on your way to
Hotel 1919 Radisson SAS Hotel in a building from 1919 You will enjoy
your three night stay at this centrally located property in one of
Reykjavik's most beautiful and historical buildings. The 70 exclusively
designed rooms offer all the modern conveniences.
Day 2
Reykjavik
Today a full day excursion (Golden Circle Tour) including some of the
best known natural phenomena of Iceland as well as the major sights of
Reykjavik. Travel outside the city to see Pingvellir National Park, the
impressive waterfall Gullfoss and the geothermal area Geysir. You will
also see the greenhouse community, Hveragerdi using geothermal energy to
grow vegetables and other plants.
Day 3 Reykjavik
Free day for more sightseeing or just relax in town. The Hotel 1919
Radisson SAS Hotel offers excellent cuisine and has a very friendly pub.
Day 4 Reykjavik
You have time today for an excursion to the Blue Lagoon and perhaps a
bath in its therapeutic waters. Afterwards, visit a nearby fishing village
on the way to the Reykjanes Peninsula, famous for its landscape and
lighthouse on the westernmost tip. Continue to Keflavik airport for your
flight. (Depending on flight schedules, the excursion may be on day 3.)
