The origin of the hotel dates back to 1809 when P. Flattum
received an innkeeper's license. The current side wing, once the "Railroad
Hotel", was completed in 1858. With the street wing from 1912, today's Grand Hotel
Hønefoss AS emerges as a venerable establishment, where atmosphere and distinction are
