Gloppen Hotel is surrounded by wild and beautiful scenery,
situated in the rural district of Sandane at the head of the Gloppenfjord. In the very
same place that a hotel has been run since 1829. For the first few years there was only a
coaching inn, but in 1866 the first part of the present building was erected, and was
completed in 1921 and decorated in the nouveau style. Today you can experience the noble
atmosphere from the days of old, in the magnificent lounges where the tables are laid for
lunch and dinner.
