The Golden Circle:

Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss falls, Geysir geothermal area and other
sights of southern Iceland. Þingvellir, Gullfoss and Geysir area are the most
visited places by tourists. This is both because of the beauty of these places
but also they are kind of wonders of nature. The aim of this tour is to give
some insights into the creation of our island and how we manage to utilize its
resources for our well being at the same time ensure we do not overexploit our

Reykjanes - Blue Lagoon: 6 Hours
Drive to Bessastaðir (residence of the President of Iceland), the town of
Grindavík and the Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon is a unique wonder of nature, a
lagoon filled with pleasantly warm geothermal water in the middle of a lava
field. It has excellent bathing facilities and a restaurant.

The South Shore Adventure: 10 Hours
Along the south coast, visiting the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss,
view to Mýrdalsjökull Glacier and the small village of Vík. The glaciers around
the country characterize the Icelandic landscape. These huge white mountains are
always somewhere in the distance. Underneath the glaciers are sleeping volcano's
which are active every other century. After a stopping in Vik, a walk on
the black sands and view of the inspiring Dyrholaey Sea Arch.

Westman Island Tour: 6-11 Hours
Thirty minutes flight from Reykjavik is the town on the island of Heimaey which
barely escaped destruction in the volcanic eruption of 1973. Keiko, the whale

The Icelandic horse is a very special animal. They are small but strong, they
are friendly and willing animals who rarely give their riders any trouble. On
this 2 hours adventurous riding tour into the lava fields of the nature park
Heiðmörk you will get to know the horse and have an experience you will never
forget. The horses are well suited both for the beginner and more advanced

The area South East
of Reykjavik is known as the Golden Circle for the wealth of natural phenomena
and historical sights it boasts.Your tour today will show you the most important
of these destinations.
It is a great way to start the day and drive through the Hengill massif to
Nesjavellir, the power project that pumps hot water to the capital and you can
see steem jets and feel the earth tremble. Then travel through the Thingvellir
National Park where the Althing, Iceland's first seat of government, was
established in 930. Canyons, caves, waterfalls and lakes make this one of
Iceland's most scenic areas. Visit the majestic waterfall of Gullfoss, where the
Hvitá river drops 32 metres in two dramatic falls. Finally, explore the
world-famous Geysir area, where hot springs, steaming vents, brightly coloured
algae and warm streams pepper the surreal landscape. On the way back you will
see the crater Kerid and Hveragerdi the greenhouse village.

Departure from
Reykjavík in a Land Rover Superjeep passing a series of valleys at the foot of
the ancient Hengill volcano where those who want can play in the snow or go tuba
gliding. We continue to Nesjavellir, with its geothermal power plant and hot
spring area. From Nesjavellir we head south and we will have lunch (not
included) at the cozy restaurant in the old fishing village of Stokkseyri. After
lunch we drive down to the beach to look for seals and take the "Viking test".
We head back to our vehicles where those who dare can have a taste of
13-year-old shark, accompanied by the traditional Icelandic snaps known as the
"Black Death". Then it’s back to Reykjavík through the Threngsli Pass.

Gullfoss – Geysir Land
Rover Tour: 8-9 Hours
From Reykjavik we drive in modified Land Rover jeeps to Þingvellir National Park
where we will enjoy the fascinating views of the rift valley. Directly east of
the valley, a mountain track will take us to the Lyngdalsheiði plateau and we
continue east across the wilderness, driving on snow, until reaching inhabited
areas and a real road again at Laugarvatn. After reinflating the tyres for road
driving, we continue to the spectacular waterfall Gullfoss and the spouting (up
to 30 meters!) hot springs in the Geysir area.

Pingvellir and
Langjökull Glacier: 9-10 Hours
NOTE: *During thaw
period in the spring and during winter time we might have to drive the Kjós road
from Þingvellir to the glacier.
From Reykjavík we
drive to Þingvellir National Park, site of the ancient Viking parliament.
Driving through the barren mountain pass of Kaldidalur (the cold valley) to the
glacier Langjökull, where we will be equipped with crampons and ice axes for a
glacier walk under professional supervision (easy level). From Langjökull-glacier
we continue to Hallmundarhraun lava area where Surtshellir, Iceland's biggest
and most spectacular lava cave is to be found. After caving, the group will
continue down the Borgarfjördur valley and visit the waterfalls of Hraunfossar
and Barnafoss, pass the historic site of Reykholt and Europe's biggest hot
spring before returning to Reykjavík via the fjord Hvalfjördur.

Northern Lights Adventure: 4.5 - 5 Hours
We start our tour by
heading directly to Kleifarvatn lake, situated on the volcanic rift. The
moonlike surrounding of the lake leaves a strong impression on the visitors. Now
we are away from the lights of the city and from here we start our hunt for the
Auroras Borealis. We explore the solfatares of the Krísuvík hot spring area
before continuing our tour to one of the region's lava caves, famous for its
beautiful ice and lava formations. We put on our helmets and lights and explore
the cave's "crystal palace" of ice. Coming out from the cave we continue our
quest for the northern lights as we head for the south coast. On the south coast
we will drive to one of the country's best seafood restaurants for dinner.

Winter Snow
Mobile Tour: 3-4 Hours
Head out of the city
to the mountain plateau of Hellisheidi or Lyngdalsheidi where the snow mobiles

Northern Lights and Lobster Feast: 4-5 Hours
Departure from Reykjavík, the Monster Super Jeep
takes you on a twilight tour across the surreal lava , chasing the Aurora
Borealis (conditions permitting). Then down to the south shore to the small
seaside village of Stokkseyri, located on the south coast of Iceland, where we
enter the rustic restaurant with its warm and friendly atmosphere "Við
Fjöruborðið" (By the Seaside). We will enjoy their specialty, Stokkseyri
lobster, which is served on a whole platter, cooked in butter and garlic and
