The Brothers Karamazov
Hotel
St. Petersburg, Russia
The Brothers Karamazov Hotel was opened in May 2004. It is a cozy hotel with
28 rooms and a personal touch. The hotel is ideally located in the
historical district of Saint Petersburg, close to the Church of the Vladimir
Mother-of-God Icon and the Memorial Apartment Museum of Fyodor Mikhailovich
Dostoevsky, where he lived since October 1878 and till his death in January
1881 and where he finished one of his most famous novels - "The Brothers
Karamazov". Both businessmen, whose priority is the easy access to the city
center, and modern travelers, who want to see the real beauty of Saint
Petersburg architecture and plunge into the unique atmosphere of the city,
will find there everything they need. Note that Nevsky Prospect, the main
thoroughfare of Saint Petersburg, is just 20 minutes' walk from the hotel.
The nearest metro stations are the Vladimirskaya/Dostoevskaya and the
Ligovsky Prospect. According to the modern standards the Brothers Karamazov
Hotel has been accredited as a three-star plus hotel. With its extensive
list of amenities and high standard of services the hotel is perfectly
suited for both business people and leisure tourists. The organic
combination of the cozy, homelike atmosphere and the most up-to-date
facilities provides an ideal setting for either short or long stays in the
most mysterious of all Russian cities. The interiors of this small hotel
remind of refined Petersburg of the second half of the 19th century.
Rooms
The hotel offers 28 standard rooms, including single and double. Meeting
modern European standards, all rooms come equipped with electronic locks,
telephone, TV, Internet access and hair-dryer. Bathrooms feature
shower-cabins. For those traveling with children the hotel offers family
guestrooms with adjacent rooms. Extra bed is available upon request. The
most demanding guests will surely appreciate the unique interior rooms,
decorated in refined classical style of the second half of the 19th century.
There are only four such rooms in the hotel. Named after the female
characters of Dostoevsky's most famous novels, they convey the individual
character traits of Grushenka and Katerina from "The Brothers Karamazov",
Nastasya Filipovna and Aglaya from "Idiot".
Planned with leisure tourists and business people in
