winter darkness and unspoiled landscapes, wrapped in a white mantle of
snow, create a special atmosphere for a holiday to remember. You and
your children will experience a Christmas fantasy which will long
remain vivid in their memory. See their eyes sparkle with delight and

DEC 22 -
ROVANIEMI
From Rovaniemi Airport, transfer by private car to Scandic Hotel
Rovaniemi. Opportunity for afternoon touring, sauna and swim.
Overnight at hotel.
DEC 23 - ROVANIEMI
Daily buffet breakfast.
Excursion to a Husky Dog Farm by Snowmobile
Safari:
After breakfast, meet with guide and get equipped
with appropriate thermal clothing for a snowmobile safari. After
receiving driving instructions, you set our for a ride to a local
husky dog farm. There you will
experience an exhilarating drive in a sled pulled by a team of eager
husky dogs.
Northern Lights
Excursion:
Discover the
arctic winter’s night on an exciting evening adventure. The lights of
your snowmobile reflect off the snow in the dark, as you drive through
the wintry forest. With some luck and clear skies, you will be able to
experience the spectacular display of the Northern Lights or Aurora
Borealis, a phenomenon peculiar to the northern regions. The safari
includes a coffee break around a log fire and lumberjack’s candles.

DEC 24 -
ROVANIEMI
Christmas with Santa:
Drive by snowmobile to a secluded forest location to meet Santa's
reindeer. Take a reindeer driving test and participate in a special
Lapp ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle.
Experience the winter wonderland on a short walk in the surrounding
woods. The trail is lit by candles and torches, which create a
spellbinding atmosphere. Along the way you will see glimpses of
Santa’s little helpers playing cheerfully in the woods and wishing to
make friends with the kids. Amidst the forest there is a small
cottage, furnished with Christmas decorations. Each child will receive
a personal letter from Santa, with a promise that he will come and pay
a visit in the evening, if only they feed the forest birds and animals
together with his little helpers. Enjoy a light
Christmas meal in the old wooden house with
a big fireplace and fetch a Christmas tree.

ROVANIEMI
Arctic Picnic:
On an arctic picnic you have the chance to enjoy Lapland's
fascinating scenery. Ride by snowmobile
through the picturesque woods to a nice picnic area where you can try
your luck in ice-fishing while frying sausages over a campfire.
Buffet dinner
and overnight at Scandic Hotel Rovaniemi.
DEC 26 -
ROVANIEMI
Depart today with a transfer to the Airport. Additional nights in
Rovaniemi and/or Helsinki are available.
