This beautiful castle, dating from the 16th Century, has a colorful and Interesting
history. It is situated on a cliff with a magnificent view over the bay of Braviken. The
present buildings were constructed in 1725. The parkland surrounding the castle is full of
ageold hardwoods and green lawns.
Location:
The castle was meticously renovated in 1991. The main building has been
furnished as an artistocratic home with great care being taken in maintaining the
original, historical atmosphere. All rooms are luxuriously furnished. The wings have a
touch of manor house romantics. The atmosphere is perfect for those of you who want to
enjoy quiet, seclusion and the beautiful countryside. A living castle where each guest is
personally cared for and where the kitchen uses products from its own gardens and its own

The castle with surrounding park and waters offers a variety of
activities. Sauna, Billiards, library, concerts, exhibitions, tennis courts, boule,
croquet, walks, row boats, hunting, fishing, cruises, barbecues etc. Golf organized
through the Bravikens Golf Club (20 kms). The Kolmarden Zoo is nearby. • The castle
has 5 guest rooms. The wings have 12 guest rooms. Conference facilities for up to 40
people.
