Historic Ulfshyttan was built 100 years ago.

Location: South of Borlänge, in the
heart of the iron-producing region of Bergslagen. A foundry was established here as early
as the beginning of the 17th century. The blast-furnace, the ruins of which can be seen at
Ulfshyttan, was built at the end of the 18th century.
Special features: Charming manor house in a pretty
setting. Unique turret room with panoramic views in all directions. Art exhibitions in
picture gallery. Library with fascinating old books and open hearth. The restaurant enjoys
a delightful view over Lake Ulfssjön.
Activities: Illuminated exercise trails on the
promontory Fishing in Lake Ulfssjön or in own pool, sauna, billiards etc. Frequent art
exhibitions by famous artists in the gallery.
