Victory Hotel
Stockholm (Old Town)

exteriör

When plans were underway to transform a 17th century building in Stockholm¹s Old Town into the Victory Hotel, a watch-tower dating from the 14th century was discovered in the cellar. The tower, Leijontornet, now takes pride of place within the gourmet restaurant of the same name.

Location: As centrally located in Stockholm¹s Old Town as is possible given the narrow lanes and alleys, but nonetheless a feeling of open space. Close to Lake Mälaren. The Royal Palace is close by.

Special features: Not only are all the rooms named after captains of sailing ships that have anchored at one time in Sweden¹s harbours, they are all furnished and decorated with the respective captain, and ship as motif. The Victory¹s guests really appreciate the research that has gone into creating each room and the comfort in fittings and fixtures.

Activities: All of Stockholm¹s attrac-tions are within walking distance. 19 golf courses within 15-30 minutes¹ drive, tennis, sailing, fishing (catch salmon right in the city centre!)

48 bedrooms
Highly professional conference facilities (seating up to 60 people at tables)
Built in 1640, turned into a hotel in 1987 and under constant improvement
Swimming pool with jacuzzi
Pretty inner courtyard

SUPPLEMENT 100 SEK/person/night for Stockholm City Center Hotels
